Funny desi t-shirts with jokes you only get if you grew up here: a Department of Jugaad crest, a Patakha cracker label, an aam girl and a skeleton stuck in traffic.
ZOJO desi t-shirts are four funny Indian graphic tees: a Department of Jugaad college crest, a Patakha firecracker label, a mango that says Not Your Aam Girl and a skeleton who is Still In Traffic. They cost Rs 699 in 180 GSM cotton or Rs 999 in 260 GSM terry, and every one is printed to order in India and ships free.
Department of Jugaad looks like a college crest for people who fix things. DEPARTMENT OF JUGAAD sits over a shield with a spanner, a roll of tape and a light bulb, and the ribbon underneath says FIXED IT. DON'T ASK HOW. It's for the friend who repairs a cooler with a hair tie and a prayer.
Patakha is drawn like an old matchbox or cracker label. A red rocket shoots up through marigolds, PATAKHA is lettered in yellow on top and the banner says HANDLE WITH CARE. It's the Diwali one, but it works the rest of the year too.
Not Your Aam Girl is a ripe mango with a cut half beside it, tied up in a pink bow. NOT YOUR sits on top and aam girl is written below in pink script. If you grew up here you get the joke in about one second.
Still In Traffic is a skeleton in a helmet and shades, still sitting on his scooter at a red light with cars packed in on both sides. STILL IN TRAFFIC runs above and below him. Anyone who commutes in Bengaluru, Pune or Gurugram already owns this mood.
All four are front prints, about 9.5 to 10.4 inches wide depending on the design.
Department of Jugaad and Patakha are terry oversized t-shirts: 90% cotton and 10% polyester at 260 GSM, drop shoulders and a loose, boxy body. Rs 999 each. Terry is the thicker fabric, so it holds its shape and feels heavier than a normal tee. There's more on it on our terry oversized t-shirts page.
Still In Traffic is a regular crew fit in 100% cotton at 180 GSM for Rs 699. It's the lighter one, easy for a hot day or a long ride. Not Your Aam Girl is cut on our women's classic crew fit, also 100% cotton at 180 GSM, Rs 699. More women's tees are in the women's collection.
Every desi tee comes in sizes XS to XXL. The size chart sits on each product page, and if you're between two sizes, go by how loose you want it.
Department of Jugaad comes in baby blue, jade or white. Patakha comes in baby blue, jade or light baby pink, so it's the soft pastel pick of the four. Not Your Aam Girl has the most choice: black, bottle green, maroon, pink or purple. Still In Traffic comes in black, maroon, petrol blue or white.
If you want a Hindi word on your chest, the Kalyug t-shirt has कलयुग in Devanagari on the front and a big cosmic print on the back. For Mahadev and Om Namah Shivaya prints, see Lord Shiva t-shirts. For a Parvati Valley poster or a Khardung La bike badge, see travel t-shirts.
We print each tee after you order it, so nothing sits in a warehouse. Orders are printed and shipped within 24 to 48 working hours and most arrive in 5 to 8 working days. Jammu and Kashmir and the Northeast can take up to 10. Shipping is free everywhere in India.
You can pay in full online, or pay 20% online and the rest to the courier in cash or UPI. Returns are open for 7 days from delivery, for any reason, with a full refund. If the size is wrong we send another size for free.
It's a graphic tee with a joke, word or picture that comes from everyday Indian life, like jugaad, Diwali crackers, aam or a traffic jam. Ours are original drawings, printed in India.
Patakha is the Diwali pick: a firecracker label with marigolds and a red rocket on a 260 GSM terry oversized tee. Our gifts under Rs 1,000 page says to order by 30 October to have it before Diwali.
Still In Traffic and Not Your Aam Girl are Rs 699. Department of Jugaad and Patakha are terry oversized tees at Rs 999. GST is included and shipping in India is free.
Department of Jugaad, Patakha and Still In Traffic are unisex. Not Your Aam Girl is cut on a women's fit.
Turn it inside out, wash it in cold water and dry it on low heat. Flip it inside out before ironing too. Our guide to washing printed t-shirts has the full steps.
